From the founder
Hi, I’m Dasha, the founder of Question Beauty 🖤
Question Beauty launched in September 2023, and I still cannot believe the overwhelmingly supportive and creative community we’ve built in such a short amount of time!
I’ve always been an artist who loves painting. When I started getting into makeup at 14, it became another core part of who I am. As I learned more about makeup, I was frustrated that I couldn’t get the exact colors I wanted. Even when I found the right shades, they often came in palettes with nine other colors I already had. This was particularly noticeable because I was used to buying whichever paint colors I needed or mixing shades to get the perfect hue. Eventually, I discovered loose pigments and fell in love with their vibrancy and effectiveness. Since then, I’ve been looking for a way to bring my experience to as many people as possible.
Enter the idea for Question Beauty. It started with the concept of bringing high-quality color options to everyday makeup as singles. Raw pigments seemed like a great option. To take it a step further, I wanted to bring professional looks to everyone’s fingertips, and that’s where I saw multichromes fitting in. I arrived at the name Question Beauty because the biggest trends were clean girl looks, which I still love, but I also want a bit of spice every now and then. The ‘Question’ challenges societal norms of acceptable beauty standards.
I wanted the brand to encourage expression and creativity, to question the normal styles we’re supposed to conform to, and give us the freedom to define our own beauty standards.
I cannot wait to share the incredibly exciting things our small but mighty team has planned for you in the next year. Thank you for your continued support!!
Stay glowing,
Dasha
